nelle notti di febbraio rivolgendo lo sguardo al sud, potremmo ammirare tutte le più belle costellazioni di febbraio: il cane maggiore, con la bella e luminosa Sirio, accompagnato dal cane minore fedeli ad Orione che li sovrasta.Orione si portegge dal Toro e poco lontano brilano le stelle dei Gemelli e dell'Auriga.
Ad est sorge il Leone che annuncia l'arrivo della primavera.Vicino vi sono le deboli costellazioni di Libra e del sestante.
Sopra l'orizzonte nord, l'Orsa Maggiore si erge in tutta la sua maestosità. Cefalo e Cassiopea brillano a sinistra della Polare e il Dragone sfiora l'orizzonte.
Pianeti
Giove è ancora osservabile nel cielo serale ad ovest,ma ormai solo poche ore dopo il tramonto.
Saturno, il più bello tra i pianeti ,a fine febbraio sarà ben visibile a partire dalle 22 all'orizzonte est, che brilla vicina alla luminosa stella Arturo che potrà esserescambiato da un occhio inesperto.
Venere è visibile solo le prime ore dell'alba.
